Teri Behrens, Program Co-Chair 2007-2009. Teri is Director of Evaluation at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan. She creates systems to assess the results of funded projects and activities, develops tools for program staff to work with grantees on evaluation, and builds relationships with external contractors to disseminate findings. She would like to stimulate conversations about how non-profits and foundations can get less data and use it more effectively for real-time feedback. Lorna Escoffery, Business Co-Chair 2007-2009. Lorna is a project development and evaluation consultant specializing in the nonprofit sector. She has over 15 years of experience developing, managing, and evaluating projects in Florida and abroad. Currently, she provides strategy and evaluation assistance for state-wide programs, medical foundations, and educational institutions. She has been Director for Grants for the South Florida Annenberg Challenge, project leader for the re-accreditation of the Schools of Business and Medicine of the University of Miami, and lead evaluator for state-funded projects for education, workforce development and health care. Diane Manuel, Business Co-Chair 2006-2008. As an Evaluation Analyst for The California Endowment (TCE), Diane works with grantees, program staff, other evaluators to identify effective and responsive evaluation strategies supporting program improvement and organizational learning.
John B. Nash, Program Co-Chair 2006-2008. John B. Nash, PhD, is founding partner with OpenEye Innovation Management, based in Sweden and the U.S., coaching a variety of foundations, nonprofits and other agencies on strategy and evaluation.
